This ribbed hat is a timeless classic and perfect for everyone's winter wardrobe.... With 10 size options you could knit a hat for the the whole family!
Wear it with a deep turned up cuff for a neat fitted hat or choose a narrow turned up cuff / or no cuff at all for the very popular floppy top look... the choice is yours.
Separate detailed instructions are included to knit this hat either FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs or FIXED CIRCULARS
Separate row-by-row instructions for each size make this pattern super easy to follow!
If you are a newer knitter you can dip into my free knit technique videos for additional help with the simple stitches that create this rib decrease crown detail. It's pretty easy!

1 pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed straight needles / or DPNs / or fixed circulars
NOTE: As this hat is knitted in rib it requires a smaller needle to knit this structure in DK (US Light Worsted) yarns. This smaller needle size will give you a neat rib with elasticity and memory (it will bounce back).
If you are printing out this pattern, just print the size you are knitting along with the 'All sizes' pages to save on paper and ink. All pages are clearly numbered and indexed.
