A pretty knitted flower adorns this stunning textured hat.  Shown here in this lush purple Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran wool by Debbie Bliss 

This aran hat knitting pattern is worked flat and seamed on a pair of single pointed 4mm (US6) & 5mm (US8) needles.

Choose this beautiful tweedy yarn, or any other Aran weight (US worsted) yarn that knits to the tension listed below.

Stocking stitch                  
10cms = 18 sts               
10cms= 24 rows

This pattern has instructions in the following sizes:
3-6 months ( 6-12 months, 1-2 yrs,  3-5 yrs, 6-11 yrs, Adult S/M, Adult L/XL )

You will need:
1 pair of 4mm (US6) single pointed needles
1 pair of 5mm (US8) single pointed needles
Main hat  = 35 (40,45,50,65,75,85) gm Colour 1 Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran
Flower =  10 gm of a Contrast colour Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran/ or use up any other Aran yarn in your stash
