OSCAR DK BOBBLE HAT

By popular demand you can now knit my super popular Oscar Bobble Hat in DK (US Light Worsted) yarns too! 

This bobble hat has a simple cable repeat pattern which makes it the perfect project for a new knitter who is ready to explore cable knits!

This knitting pattern has instructions for the following sizes:
0-2 months, 2-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years, 4-7 years, 8-12 years, Teen/Adult S / Adult M/L

The hats shown here have been knitted with Sirdar Snuggly Double Knitting. You can also  choose any DK yarn that recommends 4mm (US6) needles.

Tension
Stocking stitch                
10cms = 22 sts                   
10cms = 30 rows

Measurements
This cabled hat has a lot of stretch due to the ribbed knit throughout the hat.

You will need:

20 (30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 85, 100) gm Sirdar Snuggly Double Knitting

NOTE: When choosing alternative yarns refer to the yardage/meterage below as you will most likely need additional yarn.
72 (108, 144, 180, 216, 252, 306, 360) Yards
66 (99, 132, 165, 198, 231, 280.5, 330) Meters

1 pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles / or DPNs or fixed circulars
1 pair of 4mm (US6) single pointed needles / or DPNs or fixed circulars
Cable needle 4mm (US6)
Pompom-maker

Separate detailed instructions are included to knit this hat either:
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs or FIXED CIRCULARS 

Separate row-by-row instructions for each size make this pattern super easy to follow!  You can also dip into Linda's free knit technique videos for additional help! 

If you are printing this pattern, just print out the size you are knitting along with the 'All Sizes pages to save on paper ink.  All pages are clearly numbered and indexed.
