LEARN TO KNIT - FIRST STEPS

Come and enjoy this friendly and relaxed beginners hand knit workshop at our cosy cottage studio in Oxfordshire, England!

This single workshop is for absolute beginners and for those of you who need some help to remember what grandma taught you all those years ago.

You will learn a simple cast on, how to work a knit stitch, a purl stitch, how to cast off, and how to pick up those accidental dropped stitches. You will spend time practising these initial first steps to help you at the start of your new and exciting knitting journey!

If you would like to come back for further knitting workshops after this initial session, we can also chat through the next steps that are perfect for you.

This workshop will have a maximum of 6 people to ensure you get lots of one to one help and advice.

Where is the event held?

The workshop will be held at Blackberry Cottage Studio, Unit 25, Eynsham Park Estate, Cuckoo Lane, North Leigh, Oxfordshire, England OX29 6PW (just outside the historic textile town, Witney... a lovely place to visit)

Our cosy cottage studio is set within the grounds of Eynsham Hall in a creative and inspiring community of fine artists, designers and crafts people. We love it here..... and we hope you do too!

The studio is a working design studio for most of the week, but we open it up for some workshops throughout the month as we love to teach too!

Is there parking at the event?

There is a customer car park just outsde the studio so parking is easy and convenient.

Is there disabled access?

Both the studio and toilet facilities are on the ground floor. There is room for wheelchair access within the studio.  Do contact me to check that access will be ok for you before you book your place.

What do I need to bring to the event?

All the materials that you will need are available to use during the workshop, so you won't need to bring anything with you.

What about refreshments?

Tea and coffee and home-made cake are included and available during the the workshop.

Can I cancel my ticket

Yes you can cancel your ticket up to 7 days before the workshop to allow time for another student to take your place.
If you find you can't make it it to the workshop between 1 and 6 days before the workshop, we are happy for you to transfer your ticket to a friend.
